When I print a Printer Status Report for ink levels, the "Ink Install" date is wrong by minus 5 days each time.
From this I deduce that my printer's internal date is wrong by minus 5 days.
I have searched high and low for "setting" and "re-setting" the date - but to no avail.
The HP Helpdesk is useless
Thus I am "Very Dissatisfied". can anyone help ?

Please try the following steps:
1. Press Setup (Wrench icon)
2. Press Tools
3. Press Date & Time
4. Press Change, and then select your region
5. Set correct time, and then press Ok
6. Enter correct date. and then press Done

Thank you Lorem-Ipsum - your solution worked perfectly and solved my problem - something Google and HP's own Support Search system had totally failed to do !
Thank you also for your clear, articulate and literate reply. It was a pleasure to read unlike the increasing trend for inarticulate, mis-spelt and illiterate "pavement-speak" comments which seem to dominate on-line forums at present.
