2 sided print accessory with windows 7 -64 bit [ Edited ]

Running windows 7 - 64 bit with Hp officejet 7310xi with 2 side print accessory. I cannot print 2 sided automatically. I cannot download Hp print director although I do have the Solution center. I am able to print 2 sided manually. Any help appreciated!

Automatic printing on 2 sides worked fine with windows XP. After upgrading to windows 7 64-bit automatic 2 sided printing is no longer availabe.. Manual 2 sided printing is available.  The fixes available on line refer to HP Print Director which I do not have and have been unable to download. I have the HP Solution center, but have not been able to fix the problem with that program.

The driver defaults to the duplexer being "not installed".  Set the duplexer to "installed" in the driver as described in the Vista/Windows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide here.
