6280 windows 7- no automatic 2-side printing

New computer with windows 7 (32 bit) - Loaded updated 6280 driver for Windows 7 - only shows manual option for 2-sided printing under preferences.  Is anyone else having this problem?  The old windows XP prints duplex just fine - what's happened?

I, too, am having severe problems with the new driver.  I've dowloaded the full driver set for W7, install it, walk thru reconfig the wireless connection (by starting w/USB cable), get it running (passing the tests), print one doc using duplex feature and then everything goes haywire!  I can no longer print ANYTHING.  So I've gone back and uninstalled every driver, reinstalled the new download again and start over.  Same thing - print once and then loose all ability to print anything (even with duplex turned off).  Stressful!  I've spent at least 6-7 hours troubleshooting this over 3-4 days.  Have run out of solutions.  (Officejet J6480)

My printer hp6280 was printing on both sides.  Don't know what happened.  I can't get it to print bothsides anymore.  I went to printing short cuts and high lighted two sided printing.  It only says manual and no 2 sided printing to clickon.  I just upgraded to wireless with Netgear.  Did this have anything to do with it.  The pulldown box does nolonger show 2 sided printing.  Dan

The duplexer must be enabled as described in this post.
