6500A Poster Printing Removed from Print Driver

I've recently upgraded to the 6500A for its wireless features from a 7310 and found the poster print driver settings have been removed!   After a recent call to the HP help center this was confirmed, I was informed the feature has been removed on purpose.

 

So what are people doing or what software are folks using as a workaround?

 

Is anyone else perturbed by this or am I just over reacting?  Are folks generally ok with paying for more but getting less in feature functionality?  Well I am not and I would like to see this feature (as well as anything else that was taken out) put back in.

My new 3050A has it removed too.  Maybe it's to help the HP Snapfish business...buy posters online.

If you convert the doc or image into PDF, the Adobe driver includes Poster drivers :smileyhappy:

Same problem with Officejet 6700 Premium.  Thought I was replacing my 6480 that broke with the same but newer printer.  Not the case.  It will put 6 pages on one page, but not 1 page spread out over 6 pages.

What Adobe version has the poster function?  Using Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard and can't find poster printing.
