7410xi aio solution center error

officejet 7410xi aio. wireless home network. works fine with dell desktop=hp media center. with my hp pavilion laptop 9543cl with vista home premium i can't access scan software. i click on either solution center or digital imaging then solution center and solution center flashes on the screen like its trying to load then the error message "no hp device has been detected. hp solution center will now close"I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all different ways even  the L1-L2=L3 way disabling anti virus ,manually adding firewall exceptions etc. the other computers on my home network run XP and have no problems-albeit using hp director instead of solution center have tried using ms config and disabling all non Microsoft services and have changed firewalls on my laptop but nothing works.

the scan diagnostics say the software didn't install correctly or is missing another one says to reintall but this is a loop. i.ve installed the vista updates following the directions carefully but no luck. i tried the  "three ways to reinstall/uninstall hp printer /scanner software. the only way i can use the software is i created a shortcut on my desktop for the file hpqscnvw.on the scan diagnostics it passes until registry-fail and scan flow manager-fail

i am uninstalling right now just as the scan diagnostics said to. it will take a few. i downloaded the full set of drivers from the link you sent me but have done all this before with same result.. still uninstalling.

does anyone know how to get solution center to work with vista home premium on a pavilon dv9543cl laptop?
