I was wondering if there was any news as to when there might be some Windows 7 beta drivers available. I have a PhotoSmart D5360 printer and the Vista x64 drivers will not install on Windows 7. I would love to have at least a basic print driver.

Have any of you managed to get the wifi working in Windows 7?
It works fine for me with an old Linksys wireless card. This is a printing forum, you should probably ask your question in the appropriate desktop or notebook forum.

Dear Bob,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don't think it's so much a specific issue with my desktop or notebook, as it is to the HP driver installation. I'm running Windows 7 x64, and the drivers have not installed successfully. Based on my experience, I can't say I'd qualify this as a computer specific issue, but more so with the drivers themselves.
You can view my issue in this thread, as I've detailed vividly the process I've been through, both with the HP driver installer itself, and with the built-in "Add Printer" function in Windows 7 itself.
Regards,
D.

Danny -
Regardless of whether it is a hardware or driver issue, it is *not* a printing driver issue so your question belongs in a different forum. Take a look at the ones I referenced, you are much more likely to get a suitable answer there rather than in a printers and all-in=one foru,

I'm failing to see how this doesn't qualify as a driver issue with Windows 7? The installer itself is hanging at Step 3/4 at 88% (or in some occasions, at 93%)? During this time when it stalls, wireless printing through Adhoc and Network mode work fine, as I've successfully pulled the USB plug and it still does the job. However, everytime I cancel the installer, it reverts back to fully uninstalling the driver itself, leaving with the inability to get the printer fully recognized.
If that's not a driver issue, then I must be utterfly confused. I've tried Windows 7 networking, and perhaps part of my predicament does fall within the respective networking section for all-in-one's, but in this specific case, the issue is specifically in regards to the driver installation as supplied through the installation disc, or via the provided files from the HP website. I am aware that Windows 7 is not fully supported, but this does not exclude this from the fact there is some sense in this inquiry belonging inside this section of the forum.
I'll report back in my original thread if I find any solutions.
Cheers,
D.
