C309 software

I used to use printing software with my HP photosmart but I upgraded my computer/operating system (windows 7) and now it is different.  The software does not allow me to manage different size photos on different size paper (For example I cannot make 2 wallets on a 4 x 6. It also does not allow me to move the contents of the picture up and down to pick the best view).  I used to have a series 8200 and now have a C-309.  I may have been using old software and now it is gone.  When I load the new software/drivers, it does not allow you to do as many things.

I want to go back to the way it used to be.  Please help.

C309 software

Hello John B.

I followed your recomendation and unfortunately it is the same.  Maybe it is something that is there but I am not using correctly.  Once the C309 software is installed, how do you actualy open a picture and print it?  Do you use Windows Live Photo Gallery?  I tried using it and it does not allow me to print wallet size photos on 4 x 6 paper and it does not allow me to reposition the photo on the paper to get my subject in the frame.  These are two examples of what I used to be able to do on the previous software. How are you supposed to perform these basic functions?

THANK YOU,

Bernie
