C3180 no color in photo print and printing test page on power up

I have a C3180 and running window 7. It does not print a color photo from My Docs. I have a 99 cartridge installed. Also every time I power on the printer it prints a test page wasting time and ink.

It looks as though you have 2 seperate issues, I will try to help you with both.

1st issue - Can't print color photos

1. Can you print other things in color (like webpages, documents, etc)?

2. Do the photos print in black & white or not at all?

2nd issue - Test page prints when printer turned on

I believe it is an alignment page printing out (not a test page). You must complete the full alignment process or it will continue to print an alignment page each time you turn the product on or off, or start a print job. Check out the following link for details to resolve this issue:

I got a picture to print in color but the quality is poor. Mostly blueish.
