Can't install Driver/software package

Hi (sorry for my english, i'm a spanish speaker).

 

I have an All in One psc 1315, and cant install the Driver/software from the site in a new Windows 7 32bit PC.

 

I've tried everything i could find in the forum and outside.

 

I downloaded the Driver from:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4062&lc=es&cc=ar&dlc=es&sw_lang=&product=3745...

and can execute it fine.

 

When the instalation begins go fine, after the License agreement, when the setup is still "scanning the system", it shutdow. Just close the installaton without error messages. It just dont run the next step.

So i can't install anything, can't get the HP Solution Center and other software for scan.

 

Is not the antivirus, i tried to close the shields temporally, wasn't that.

 

I guess the installer (AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe) in the site is just failed.

 

I extraxt the files from the .exe and tried to install Solution center from the "setup" folder inside, didn't let me do that. And this have alot of folders with software setups that i dont know what i need from those.

 

I can connect the printer without the software, just adding it in windows, and it works for print and scan through the WIA, but this way the "Scan" button on the HP psc 1315 don't work.

Hi,

Regardless the installation problem you are facing, in order to avoid any installation problem, please also make sure the printer USB is disconnected, enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers, remove any listed PSC 1310 printer and reboot the PC before launching the installation.

 

And regarding the specific error:

Start the installation and follow the steps.

Once reaching the Licence agreement window, click the 2nd link above (Internet connection usage).

Make sure to set both of the options as No, Thanks.

Accept the licence agreementt continue following the isntallation.

 

Can you see any difference by changing those settings?

Thanks for the quick response.
I remove the HPpsc1315. Also removed the driver pack 1310 series installed via plug and play. And then rebooted the PC to try again the installation without the printer/scanner pluged in the USB port.
To this point had already tried.

But when i disable the online options tha you say in the License agreement, it just work (I don't know why this was a problem). The installation advance to the next step perfectly. Thank you so much, now i can use completly my all in one.

Hi,

Just to add, the reason for the failure is any internet connectivity problem accessing the Update servers, therefore the installation disapear furing the update proccess.

 

Great to know it has solved the problem and now you're able to use the full software functionality :smileywink:
