HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 Premier All-in-one printer
Running Windows 7 64-bit on HP Pavillion 6228p PC
The script error I get anytime I try to print from Internet Explorer 9 is:
Line: 2107
Char: 1
Error: There is no connection for this connection ID
Code: 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js
I've tried everything including performing all steps given here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973479 to no avail. Please note that I can print fine from Firefox and any Office document, e-mail, pdf, etc.
I also called HP tech support and they told me to buy a new printer because the current drivers might not be compatible with IE9 but they weren't sure. My printer is not that old and buying a new one makes no sense if all it ineeds is an updated driver to work properly. The only changes that I noticed prior to it not printing was installing Windows Updates back in December. Note: I'm running your most current drivers (Version:14.0.301.0). I'm at my last straw here, so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!!
