Designjet 100 Windows 7 64 bit driver

Client has a new HP laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.   I installed the Vista 64 bit driver.  A very simple test printed in Wordpad.  His primary application is DynaScape.  When trying to print it crashes the entire OS to a blue screen.   Is this driver not ready for prime time?  Is a Windows 7 specific driver coming?  The Designjet works fine when connected to his XP machine (also USB).

Re: Designjet 100 Windows 7 64 bit driver

I have sent HP 4 messages asking for help getting a Designjet 100 Windows 7 64 bit driver. Spending that much money on a printer / plotter justifies them providing a simple driver for us to be able to continue to use our printers. I just spent a lot of money purchasing new "pens" and new ink from HP. Over the last 10 years, I have purchased 5 hp computers, 14 printers, and 4 fax machines for my business and personal use. Then there is the ink. I know I sound upset. That's because I am upset.

Re: Designjet 100 Windows 7 64 bit driver

This forum is focused on consumer level products.  For the Designjet you may have better results posting in the HP Enterprise Designjet forum here.  If there are 64 bit XP drivers available you might try installing them.  I have had good success with the XP drivers in my Windows 7 system for my Designjet 650C.
