I have had my HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - E709n for some time now. I run it on my network, not through a USB cable. I run Windows 7 64 bit. I have now installed the full package for my printer from online at least twice over the last 2 months. It works great. Then one morning, I wake up to find the driver uninstalled. This takes a week or two. In some cases I can print anyways, but this morning I found the printer driver completely uninstalled, and my computer was searching for a printer driver, which it could not find. The computer then chose a different printer as my default (the one on the network at school).
This has been happening rather regularly now. Why? What's wrong with your softrware that makes it uninstall itself, or makes Windows think it doesn't exist? This appears to be an error in your software. Please do not ask me to reinstall this driver multiple times until you've fixed the problem.
