HP 6500 software suite

I have a HP 6500 e709n wireless printer, that is connected to my macbook pro via wifi. 

After installing my printer again, because it stopped working when I installed mac os lion, I can no longer find my software suite? I can print and scan, but only by going to settings, printers, and selecting scan.
I used to have a handy dandy software suite that was installed with the drivers, I no longer have that and cant find it at the website.

Can you please help me? Is the software suite still here?

Yes. The software is still there. Check here at the web support portal for your printer. You did not state which OSX you have installed or I would have directly linked to it. :smileyhappy:

Dear Erico,

 

I have Mac OS X Lion, it tells me to go to apple update.

I only get the drivers then, I would like the software suite!

Can you confirm the software suite is still availible for Lion?

 

I had it on Snow Leapord, and that worked fine.

HI,
Unfortunately I can't change what is available. It appears that the full feature software available stops at OSX 10.6.
I wish I had better news for you on this.

From the software page:

After the public release of Lion, HP is releasing updated full HP software packages for many models on the HP Software and Drivers page. These software packages will include the HP installer with network setup and HP Scan 3. The schedule delay allows time for full testing and quality assurance from HP against the final OS X 10.7 release.

 

Why does HP tell me they will release full updated software packages, when there is no software package.

 

Is there any reason HP would not make the software suite availible for Lion? If had this printer for a year now, It can not be EOL already.
