I think there is a problem with my HP connections software. I have a 2 year old HP Pavilion laptop with Vista on it and I tryed to install Photoshop elements on it. It didn't work, which is no big deal, so I uninstalled it. In the process, I believe it must have uninstalled some other files with it. Now everytime I boot up, and my wife gets out of my profile and switches to hers, we hear a dinging about every two seconds. When I go back to my profile, there is a bunch of error dialogue boxes that say unable to launch restart.exe and I believe it says that it is connected to the HP connections software. Is there a way I can just reinstall this program? Has anyone else had this problem?
