Hope this is the right forum. Have had the printer for a while and suddenly a page now comes out with numbers printed in both light grey and black. Also, some of the lines of sentences have white streaks in them. I know that the ink level is ok.
Thought l'd give the print heads a clean but when l go into the HP Solution Centre it says HP Deskjet F2200 series disconnected, with a yellow warning triangle.
Now this is confusing me as according to Control Panel / printers and also Disk management, the printer is there and the status is online! Whatever l send to the printer works, it just isn't printing clearly.
Do you think it's something simple or should l just say to hell with it, delete everything regarding the F2280, and do a clean reinstall?
Any advice welcome.
Thank you
Edit: Surprised that no one has replied yet but gives me a chance to update.
HP Solution Center now has a green tick to say connected, but when l go into settings / printer toolbox, whatever l select now comes with a message saying "unable to establish two-way communication with the device"
Again, do l re-install or buy a Lexmark (ha ha).
