HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A PLUS on Windows 2003 Server

I'm trying to install the Windows 2003 driver for the HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A PLUS but the installtion halts and says the operating system is not supported.  The O/S is fully patched. Does anyone have a go around for this?  I simply need it for Terminal Services users.

Where did you get the driver pack from? Also are you running a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows 2003 Server? 

 

This is the version of the driver pack you need: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=bi-105951-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...

 

Let me know if this is what you already downloaded and also the questions from above.

I downloaded that and it stopped saying it does not support Windows 2003 Server (didn't list it) as well as the full driver which did the same thing.

 

This is for teminal services so the users can print locally.  I just need a simple driver for the printer.
