Sorry the post is so long...
I have installed and reinstalled the software for my printer at least 5 times. Each time I get a message that the driver did not download properly. I discovered that I am getting this message because Windows is looking for driver updates on the "Windows Update" in Microsoft's update page. I am using the printer on a wireless home network. I have learned to double check the connection and everything is fine. I attempted to scan for the first time yesterday and guess what? Can't find the HP Document Manager driver and to uninstall and reinstall the printer again. I have followed every support suggestion on the website and the drivers still don't load correctly. Although I am not an IT wiz, I'm very capable with computers and with troubleshooting issues.
Please give me a one time solution. I interviewd for the job of my dreams last Thursday and I can't send a thank you letter or the letter of references that was requested because of the problems with this printer. I cannot lose this job, In this market, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Otherwise, I'm going to throw both of the HP OfficeJet 4500 G510N-Z I have in front of a bus or trash disposal truck!!!
Thank you in advance for your support and assistance with this matter.
Sincerely,
Becky Gommel

Hi Becky,
Try using the scrubber built into the CD or Download.
From Original installation CD:
1. Insert CD into drive, and then cancel the installer
2. Open My Computer, and then right click on the CD drive and chose open
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a non-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9. Download the full feature software and drivers
10. Run the download to reinstall the printer
If software was downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. Type %temp% in the run field
2. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a non-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9. Download the full feature software and drivers
10. Run the download to reinstall the printer
