HP Photosmart printer 7280

The first page and then every other page thereafter prints blank.  The SEPARATOR in the Advanced Tab of Properties is empty so it should not try to print a blank in between documents.  Besides, it is only one document.  I chatted with an HP agent who helped me fix this last night and now it is doing it again.  Is this happening to anyone else?  I just bought this printer and am just starting to play with it so I am sure, after reading other blogs, there will be plenty other problems.

so if i understand correctly, the pritner prints a blank page after every page with text/info printed on it. i.e. Blank Page -> Printed Page -> blank page -> printed page -> blank page. correct?

One thing to check would be your paper settings in the driver.  I can imagine this would happen if your driver said A4 paper was installed but you are actaully printing to letter (A Size) paper.

Well, the perfect resolution for the symptoms I assumed is to reinstall the printer driver from the Advanced tab in the Printer Properties window. That has done the trick EVERYTIME i tried it, but only if the printer prints blank pages between every sheet printed.

I am having the same problem. I checked my paper size as you suggested. This did not help. I get a blank sheet as sheet 1 and then after every printed page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both my printer and driver several times to no avail.Do you have any other suggestions?

It has been a long time since I had to correct this problem.  Sorry, I don't have any suggestions.
