HP Solution Center is useless

I recently upgraded to Windows 7. I've downloaded new drivers and software from the HP website. The new version of Solution Center is completely useless. You tell it to fax, it does nothing. Just sits there.

I dont know if this is the right place, but amongst other things I am not allowed to post on most of the "Have your moan sites"

My complaints are with the online "NON" support  site.  I started off trying to get HP photosmart downloads etc In the end I got onto PC World (well I was desperate) & they showed me the backdoor to getting some things from HP. After downloading all of that my printer which had served me well mostly started to hang & then snatch the paper thus jamming up. Everytime.  HPs solution "print a test page"  Excuse me but IF I could print ANYTHING would I be on here looking for help?  Then I was lead to a diagnostics page, fat lot of use that.  Then (all this has taken two days so far) I am given a list of problems to choose from. Great I think except no matter which page you go to all the problems are nothing to do with MY problem. EG My M/C is jamming (After snatching) What do I get on the solutions page. ALL about messages you get in error. Again I gotta print a test page.  I got the perfect solution though. I am going to throw this out the window (From a height) & then go buy a Kodak or something else.
