HP Solution Center not working anymore on Officejet 4500 G510n-z [ Edited ]

Hi,

my problem:

The HP Solution Center did work after it was installed for the first time on my main computer (Windows XP, 32 bit);

After installing several other programs on this computer

AND after installing the Solution Center on my Laptop (Windows 7, 32bit),

It is now impossible to open the Solution Center on the main computer -

The Window opens for some seconds, then a grey rectangle (Window?) opens in the center of it and both are closed within another second with a sound ("blimp").

I did already uninstall all programs including the HP solution Center, clean the registry (ccleaner), remove all folders that were still present and after having restarted for many times I reinstalled the HP solution Center.

The problem is still present;

I did run all the diagnose programs, only the scanning diagnose program suggested to download a patch from 2008 for Vista 64 bit version,

but I run Windows XP, my Software is from 2010 and the printer from 2011;

I let the update Program already do some work, without success;

I would like to use the scanning function of the HP Solution Center, because scanning by starting from the .exe file gives me only pictures as output;

starting from printer does not work either, but it did not work ever before, even when it was possible to start it from the Solution Center;

What can I do now to resolve the problem ?

Hi, try running this removal tool.

Run it to a least level 3.

actually it did not change anything in the behaviour of th program;

Is your Adobe Flash Player up to date? (latest is 11.1.102.62)

yes, of course;

I actually updated it or un- and reinstalled it before or after reinstalling the HP Software;

you see, I did so for several times, but without success;

I hope there is a way to make it work;

Check that the hpqtra08 and hpqste08 services are running.

Check that you have only one copy the Flash?x.ocx file.

What antivirus are you using.

I just wrote a long post which seems to be gone now -

I use Avast Antivirus,

turned off and being offline while un- and reinstalling,

same with Spybot ant Malwarebytes test version;

Where can I find this file, my search program was not successful

The program is found in windows\system32\macromed\flash folder.

There should only be one file ending in .ocx

Do you have the same problem when running as another user on the XP computer?
