I have a Dell Inspiron with windows 7 and my HP Officejet v40xi all-in-one printer won't work with it. I need an upgrade or something because its driving me nuts!!!

this worked great. the only problem now is the other computer on the home group isnt able to use hp solution center now. it says it is already in use. can i download the same patch and have it be able to work with both computers in my network?

What printer are you using?

I'm assuming you're using Windows 7, but if not I will need to know the OS as well.
