HP deskjet all-in-one F4180 printing blank pages

I have recently switched to linux mint 7 and installed the drivers that came with it for my printer. My printer only prints blank pages when printing from my computer. If i make a copy just off of the printer alone, unplugged from my computer, then it works fine. I am a complete computer newbie and have no idea where to begin with this. A few forums suggested a driver issue but with no solutions:smileysad:
