I have not had the problem for awhile. I removed everything for the HP printer because I had a disc to put the system back on line. I had two problems
First, I did download they anti virus to remove it: and it stated it had done that, but in order for me to quarentine it I would have to by the product. I think they put the worm or whatever you want to call it on the system to make a buck. Regardless if you have done this. It is hard to remove the software it hides throughout your system a simple add remove will not get rid of it.
Second: As I tried to take everything out the BPD problem comes up. concentrate on getting rid of everything attached to that specific part of the HP system for me I think it was in the FAx part and since I did not have a phone hooked up that may of been what caused the problem. Getl rid of any plug-ins that you cannot distingush. One last thing you need the windows SPC3 patch and a download for HP and they are together on the Microsoft website. I wish I could be more exact but that had to bew about six weeks ago. Good luck Kevin
