Help, I am being told by Microsoft that my HP Officejet J6480 drivers are in conflict with my new Office 10 Suite. What do I do?

Hi,
Firstly I can't remember how and when we have Office 10. Are you talking about Office 2010 ? Anyway why the printer in not compatible is a mistery. Can you use your printer to print something else now ? If YES then you should be able to print other applications under Office 2010 such as Word, Excel, ...

Yes, Office 2010. When selecting my HP as a default printer, it causes excel to not work, open and crash frankly. When I choose another Default such as ONE NOTE 2010, it works just fine. Microsoft stated on the phone that I needed to contact HP to get new drivers..."which will cost you"

Well, I still do not know why Microsoft says that. Anyway, you can download driver and applications from the following link, no cost. You need to select the right Operating system for your machine:
