In windows 7 my HP6110 Officejet All-in-One consistently gives paper jam on first print.

After a print command the first sheet of paper is taken up in two stages, the first as a determined quick step followed by a slow paper advance at the end of which the red blinking light commences blinking and the display announces "Clear paper jam and then press Enter". Thereafter printing proceeds normally. This whole behaviour repeats on every new print command consistently. On my Windows XP pc this printer behaves without a problem. I think it is to do with the OS. Any ideas how to correct this anomaly will be welcomed.
