Installing Printer on new laptop

Just purchased HP Pavilion dv7; cannot connect HP Officejet All-in-One printer; have disc..but disc does not list Windows 7. Is that my problem?

Full description model....HP Officejet 5610xi All-in-One; printer, copier, scanner, fax. The disc that came with this printer lists HP PSC 1400 Series; HP PSC 1500 Series and HP Officejet 5600 Series...also has Windows 98, Me, 2000 & XP. This machine was purchased 12/2005. Please advise. Thank you.

That because your CD is out of date. You can get your driver here:
