Lost Software Product CD to install printer

I'm helping my mother set up her wireless printer.  She has lost the Product CD to install her Officejet 6500 wireless printer.  How can I get another disk or how can I set it up for her without the CD?  Help!

Already tried to download but seemed to hang up after download in the "checking systme" step

What anti-virus if any are you using?

Thanks for your help PhD Student. 

I closed all active programs and unpluged the printer from the computer and re did the download and got it working.  I have Windows XP and the antivirus software is Trend Micro which allowed me to "continue" "allow" etc.
