I do not have any information on availability but you could sign up here for email notifications when the driver is available.

I ran the install from the CD in compatability mode for XP with SP3 and it installed all of the software, and it all works.
Right click on either setup.exe or autorun.exe or install.exe (I can't remember which is on the CD, but any of them should do).
go to the compatability tab and choose Windows XP Service Pack 3.
close all of that and then double click on the executable that you just changed.
try other compatability modes if the one for XP SP3 doesn't work for you, i.e. Vista, Vista SP1 etc.
Hope that this helps.
In the meantime, I guess we wait and see what HP does. Note: just a driver for the printer, scanner, etc. probably won't help you, you'll need HP's software. The only other alternative, if all you have is the driver for Win 7 and can't get the HP software to install, is the Scan and Fax applet in WIndows itself, which will recognize the scanner once you have a proper driver for it.

Worked! M1522nf is attached via ethernet cable direct to E3200 router (this assigns the device an IP address). Using HP dv7 with Windows 7 Home 64-bit OS connected to the network via WiFi. Was only able to print before, but after this am able to remotely scan... woot. Slight variation on the previous approach (this took days to figure out, hopefully it will save someone time):
1) Downloaded and install the full software solution: M1522_Full_Solution_Win7_4_3_AM-EMEA1
2) Open the folder and right-click the autorun.exe file >> click Properties >> Go to Compatibility tab.
3) For me, I chose to run the program in compatibility mode for: Vista SP2 and also chose to "Run Program as Administrator".
4) Click Ok and then run the autorun.exe file.
It automatically found the device and installed the necessary drivers for scanning. Device manager now shows a new imaging device and it works... any good luck and thanks mjs1a!!!

I've installed M1522_Full_Solution_Win7_4_3_AM-EMEA1 for M1522nf.
But while scanning multiple pages, the pages after the first one are reduced by 30%.
Any solution for that ?
Also when is the exact driver for M1522nf for windows 7 is going to be avaiable? or is it already out?
please provide me the download link for that
sabbir
