PRINTER WON'T PRINT HALF-FOLD GREETING CARD ENVELOPES

I am using Hallmark Greeting Card software 2010 Premium.  My new Photosmart Premium REFUSES to print any size envelopes and the error message is paper mismatch.  The setup is correct what is wrong with the printer?

I had the same problem with just printing envelopes.  Someone suggested going to the download center & getting the updated driver.  When I did that and set the paper for plain -  8.5 x11-- I can print the address but not the return address on envelopes.

Sorry for a new entry but I couldn't add to the old.

Close your software completely word or whatever. 

Go control panel --  printers  --  309 hp

Go to printer preferences & on paper size make a custom size with your dimensions & save it.  Name it by the size so you can find it again

 Set to plain paper

Apply & close

then go to your envelope software and try again.

It worked for me.
