Paperspace printing small and modelspace ptinting normal in AutoCad 2008

When I print, from paperspace, some of the paperspace objects print to a smaller size <8.5X11 I think> and the modelspace objects print correctly.  I've just installed 2008 on a HP Windows Vista 64 bit machine.  I've downloded the drivers from here:  http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=377958&p...

I have installed the correct version of AutoCad for 64bit Vista.

It could be a font issue, but the same file from my 32bit XP machine prints fine.  I'm not familiar with how to install fonts for a plotter.

Thanks,

RabbitM

Re: Paperspace printing small and modelspace ptinting normal in AutoCad 2008

does you plotter have print preview

the preview will show how exactly will look

when you print your document or design

and also check your paragragh setting

and spacing

should be a format option on the bar above the page

  for some word processing pragrams

  or intergrated word texting

you will select line and you will see the

spacing how you want it to be

This is for plotting from AutoCad 2008, drafting software, not word processing.

And yes, it does come up correctly in the preview.

sorry I missed read your key words

and you might want to check your font folder somewhere in
your vista 64b version
and look for the fonts that you have been using or proffered
favorites see if they are in there if not

you can find them in your AutoCad disc
if the font in the disc of your AutoCad is in there that you wanted
copy the fonts that you like and paste it to the folder that your
font folder

but if the font that you like is not in there
find a font software and advisable a disc
that you purchase from the store

BE WARN DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING IN THE WINDOWS FOLDER OR RELATED TO IT

you can add fonts there the one that you like

Re: Paperspace printing small and modelspace ptinting normal in AutoCad 2008

It's not a font issue.  It's happening with JPGs and with the drawing's plotstamp.  Find your AutoCad plotting expert and have him reply to this.  Someone who is not familiar with AutoCad will not understand the terms I need to use to explain this problem.
