Photosmart 8450 driver problems

I am tryin to install the drivers for my photosmart 8450 and the computer keeps telling me to insert the disk that came with it. I don't have one, so i go to add printer and follow the on screen instructions and i have no luck after finishing them. it says that it's installed and working properly but it's not working. i run your diagnostic utilitiy 2.0 and it is telling me that there's a connectivity problem, but everything is hooked up properly when i put a sd card in the printer it comes up on the computer and lets me put them on the computer with no problem... can i by the disk from you guys???? on your website it says theres no need to download anything for it so it won't let me... can you please help me??????

What is your operating system?  How is the printer connected?
