Photosmart Premium C309n

When the display goes into the sleep mode after 15 minutes what is the trick to get the display to come back on?

Re: Photosmart Premium C309n

Just touch the screen, and it should turn on.

Re: Photosmart Premium C309n

Thanks for the quick reply. I have tried tapping and touching the screen and it will not wake up. I have also sent something to the printer through my mac and it prints perfect but the display still does not wake up. It appears as though the only way to activate it back on is shut it down and then restart. I can't believe that this is the way a top notch printer should work. Also after the restart and the 15 minutes goes by the screen goes back to sleep.

Re: Photosmart Premium C309n

From my experience, this can sometimes happen if the power cable of the printer is connected to a power strip\surge protector\UPS rather than to a wall socket. Can you mention what this printer is connected to?

Re: Photosmart Premium C309n

I had the printer connected to a HP Power\Surge unit. I have now tried a direct connect to a single outlet, unfortunately only to have the same problem.
