Printer Software installing in Spanish, need English [ Edited ]

I am not sure where the problem really lies, but I just bought an HP Laptop G60-549DX with Windows 7 64bit and an HP Photosmart C4795 printer/scanner. Whenever I try to install the printer, using the CD or downloading the software from the internet, it downloads everything in Spanish and I need English. At one point it asked me what language and I picked English. I have checked the Windows Language Settings and they are marked correctly, as English. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numorous times. When the installation starts, the screen will be showing in English but then after about 5 or 6 screens it all changes. All the software menus show up in Spanish so I don't even know what to click on if I would want to scan, etc.

Hi hpnicjon,

You may also want to check your regional and language settings. Your PC may be set to Spanish, but still displaying English (yes this can happen). Click the Windows button and then click inside the "Search programs and files" box. Type the word "region" in the box and press enter. On the Format tab check to make sure the Format box shows "English United States". If it does not, click the drop down and choose it from the list. Then click OK.

Thank you both for your help. I double checked the regional and language settings. That was set to English.

I downloaded from the link that was above but had the same problem the first time that I did it. Again, I uninstalled all and tried again, and it worked the second time around! This is very odd and frustrating but I thank you for your help!

Do you know if it's possible to swith the configured language on a HP 5550 laser printer from spanish to english? I'm contemplating getting a refurbished one, however it's currently in spanish and I would need it to print in english.
