Printout truncates when printing landscape to a HP Officejet 6500 Printer

Hello - thanks for keeping up with this thread and posting again. I saw your earlier post, too. On the "Advanced" tab of the Page Setup-Options for my HP Photosmart B209, I don't have the option you refer to. I have just:

• Enable maximum dpi
• Enable HP Realife Technologies
• Ink Volume
• Poster Printing
• Layout Options (Front to Back or Back to Front)

I have gone over the remainder of the options with a fine-toothed comb, thinking that your printer and mine may have slight option variations. Unfortunately, the difference between yours and mine is that I don't have that Margin setting you refer to!

However, using the A4 paper size adjustment has helped a lot in Excel. I'm left to struggle with Publisher. For the time being, I am successfully using PowerPoint to make the printouts that I used to do in Publisher. It just takes a little more fanagling.

I also can not print landscape on my HP 6500 which is wireless. It doesn't seem to work for any document uncluding web pages. I have not ried it with a cable connection.

Can't believe HP can't solve this major issue.

The following steps seem to have solved the problem for me.  I have now printed a few different spreadsheets in Landscape successfully with my wireless connection now with the following settings.  Hope it works for you if you find this and need a solution.

Click on Start>>Control Panel>>Printers.  Then Right Click on the printer icon>>Click on Properties>>Click on Advanced tab>>Select Print directly to printer.  Click on Apply>>OK

jonesbr, thank you SOOOO MUCH!!!  Your suggestion worked.  I can finally print my Works spreadsheets in landscape!!!

Thanks.  Your fix also works on my HP Photosmart C5550 printer which I normally use in wireless mode.  It's great to be able to print my Excel (2007 Student) spreadsheets in landscape mode again.

How do I print in landscape using office or word????? I hit the landscape choice, but nothing happens
