I've had a frustrating few days and I'm almost at the end of my rope.
I have an All In One PSC 1210v that's worked great.
However, I am unable to scan. Printing and copying works, though. When I try to scan, I get a Windows Installer box, saying that it's looking for the software. When it can't find it, there is a prompt box to look for the Installation Package on a CD. I have a CD that I purchased from HP to replace the install CD that I lost. I put that CD in the drive and locate the AIOSW file. However, I get another box telling me that it's not a valid installation package. I also downloaded that particular installation package and it tells me the same thing. The CD I received from HP is "All in One Software for the PSC 1100/1200 and OJ 4100 Series". It should work, right? So why isn't it?
Anyone have any ideas?
