Problems printing pdf files

Hey everyone,

 

I'm having the following problem: I am attempting to print lecture slides from a pdf file and it doesn't seem to be printing as it should.  I'm trying to put six pages on each page (as in presentation slides) and instead of printing from the top left down (or even right), the first page of the pdf shows up on the top or bottom right and the subsequent slides (or pages) go either up or to the left.  What's weird is in the preview it shows the pages lining up correctly. 

 

This is kind of hard to explain so I'm hoping someone out there knows what I'm talking about and knows how to get around it.  It's very annoying.
