Purchased Photosmart C3180 and Not Compatible with Vista

I purchased a Photosmart C3180, but it is not compatible with Windows Vista...Does anyone knows how I can solve this problem..All help would be appreciated...Cannot return the product..

The printer C3180 is compatible with Windows Vista..

 

You can download the Software Drivers from the website

I have downloaded the link from HP and everytime, I tried to open it, it says that file is Corrupt

Try downloading from this link.

 

This can be caused by security settings in your browser, there are workarounds described here.

I have tried the link HP provided to make the C3180 work with Vista - no luck.  Spent 12 hours with HP Support last weekend with no luck.  Ordered the CD right below the HP link that is suppossed to work with Vista and when it arrived, it said it was for Winddows 2000 & XP - no Vista.  Waste of money.  Printer works but scanner says it is not connected.
