Recover from bad firmware upgrade

LaserJet p4015x

 

Does anyone know how to recover from a bad firmware upgrade?

 

I tried upgrading but now the printer won't boot - gets to 6/6, A/F and hangs. Tried a cold reset but no joy - still hangs at the same place.

I hope your printer is still in warranty. If no joy after a reset you are pretty much at the end of the troubleshooting process. A shop may be able to replace the eeprom that contains the firmware.
