Scaning multipage documents on G95

I have a HP Officejet G95 multiply function printer.  I have the software that came with the printer (hp officejet g series-verision A.14.06.09).  I can fax multipage documents however I have been unable to find a way to scan in mulipage documents (I want to create a computer file I can edit with MS word or attach to an e-mail).  I there a new verision of software or a way to use the provided software to scan multipage documents?  Do I need another software product to convert the scanned file to text?  If so, what product?  Thanks.
