Warning! I do not speak English. I'm from Russia. Translation may not be very good.
Welcome!
On a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard running as a server terminal from which suddenly stopped printing the HP LaserJet 1000. The behavior of the different: sometimes only the first page is printed the job, and sometimes does not print, but the system notifies the print job done, and sometimes the print job is supposedly hangs at the same time is in the print queue with status "is printed" (how long it is in this state have not tested it, but just wait a couple of minutes) and does not print.
In the system logs no errors logged (error logging is enabled print queue).
The operating system has all updates. The printer driver is the latest available at the site of the developer version (5.51.0926 to 05.27.2002).
The other printers (HP LaserJet 1010, 1018, 1020, 1200, 3050, 5100, M1530, Pro M1212nf, Pro P1102, Pro P1566, Color 2605) prints without problems.
Reinstalling the driver (and on the server and the workstation is connected to the printer) does not give results. The server and the client version of the driver is the same.
This behavior only with the terminal server. On the workstation with the printer prints without problems. On the other workstations print without problems.
Laws of the appearance of problems have been identified. Events preceding the problem was not detected.
This situation occurred once (about a year ago.) Understood for a long time, but in what did not. Then the problem was solved by removing all the printer drivers, deleting all the printers, removing the driver files from the folder "C: \ windows \ system32" and "C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ spool \ drivers \ w32x86" (because after removing the driver files were ), removing the printers and monitors from the registry, and installing the drivers again. But this radical measure. I would not want to perform these operations each time you experience this problem.
Please tell me which way to "dig" to find out the cause of this problem? Can someone experienced and knows the solution?
