My experience is that the Windows 7 drivers are OK, you can generally find a checkbox for "flip pages up" or some similar that will correct the back side upside down.  Look for this in the Features tab.

If the back pages are upside down with "Flip on long edge" checked then uncheck it, that should change the orientation of the back side.

Re: Vista Duplex Solution - Back Page Upside Down

When printing in 'Landscape', set the Printer Preferences for Duplex Printing to 'Flip on Short Edge' to avoid printing upside-down.

When printing in 'Portrait', set the Printer Preferences for Duplex Printing to 'Flip on Long Edge' to avoid printing upside-down.

Re: Vista Duplex Solution - Back Page Upside Down

I have en HP Deskjet 9800d. It works perfectly on my Windows XP.

BUT on my Window 7 (64 bit) laptop, i have problems with printing duplex.

I use Microsoft Publisher 2007 an are making Newsletters. With side 1+4 on one side and side 2+3 on the other, like a book.

On XP I choose printer properties and Ordinary daily printing and choose landscape and A3 and duplex automatic. (freely translatet from danish)

On Windows 7 I can't choose landscape. I can only choose portrait.

Then I choose duplex in Publisher. And then the print is not centered on the page. Side one is almost OK, but side two is printed several centimeres of. And I cannot use it.

When I no longer have Windows XP, I really have a big problem.

I hope you have a solution for me.

What operating system? This is set in the Features tab.  Check or un-check the "Flip Pages Up" box.
