Another satisfied customer for Bob's fix to this printer problem. I had to request the instructions for dummies which just made the fix a snap. Bob was extremely responsive and I for one can't thank him enough for his help.

I suffered with this problem for some time before discovering this forum. It would be nice if HP would put out a fix for all the folks that haven't found this forum.

Again, my thanks to Bob for his assistance and correction to an annoying problem.

I successfully installed Bob's Vista patch for my networked HP Photosmart 8400 series. Double-sided printing now works when printing from my Vista laptop.

I just installed the patch Bob kindly emailed to me for my OfficeJet 7410, and it did, indeed, fix the duplex printing issue that had been driving me nuts since I began using Vista.  I followed the abbreviated instructions.  Thanks, Bob!

Bob's fix has just resolved the issues I had with my 7310

Now if Bob can fix it, why can't HP?

Many thanks Bob - your patch worked just fine on my Officejet 7210 (with added duplexer accessory).

Very disappointed with HP on this though, not just the duplexer but the problems you get trying to re-install the Officejet software.

I tried to follow your instructions regarding the elevated command window method, but either got error message or file could not be located. I simply navigated to the specified directory, replaced the old .gpd file with your file, deleted the *.bud files and restarted the computer. Problem solved. Thanks for the help.

I just installed the patch that Bob Headrick supplied for my 8750 with the duplex module with the small paper feed in back, and it worked flawlessly. Problem solved.

The abbreviated instructions that Bob provided were very easy to follow, and the entire process too about 3 minutes to implement and test.
