Re: Vista Duplex Solution - Back Page Upside Down

I know your post was a long time ago but I am getting the error. When I searched the file I only found the one I put in the temp folder.... Do I rename it and drag to the 3 folder?

Thanks

What printer model? Do you have a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Vista? The patch is basically one file with a .gpd extension that is copied into the proper directory (depending on the 32 or 64 bit operating system).  The zip file also contains a pdf file with detailed instructions.  Read the pdf instructions and ask for clarification if something is not clear.

Re: Vista Duplex Solution - Back Page Upside Down

I have successfully used this patch ... twice.  Why twice?  Just a warning or notice to all:

Separately, my OfficeJet 7310 All-in-One's scanning function doesn't work properly under Vista when I am connected to it through my home network.  Connection drops.  For small scan jobs, there are some reasonable workarounds (scan to memory card, use Windows Photo Gallery's scanning functionality).  However, I recently had a big scan job I needed to do, so I connected by Vista laptop directly to the 7310 by USB.  In installing my "new" USB printer, apparently, the gpd file was overwritten by the original, defective one.  So I had to do this a second time.

Hello Bob,

I am having same issue, tried to find a new driver for my LaserJet CP4525 but was not able to find it.

Do you have it?

What operating system?  I just downloaded the XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 x64 driver from HP here and installed it.  For this driver there is a choice of "flip pages up" or "flip pages over", changing this selection should flip the back side appropriately.
