Maybe.  Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What operating system? If there is not a full featured driver for your printer then you will not get a download for Solution Center for your printer/operating system combination.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? Have you tried downloading the full featured driver for whatever printer you have from HP here?  Enter your product number, select the appropriate choice, select Drivers and Software, then enter Windows 7 (64 bit).  Next look for the full featured driver.   If the printer is connected by USB you will need to disconnect the printer before installing the driver,  do not reconnect it until instructed to by the installer.  Also look for any updates and patches, for some printer models there were updates needed if a system was updated from Vista to Windows 7.

Re: Where is HP Solution Center software?

Greetings,

I ran into a prolem with my HP Officejet 6500 wireless.  I had to reformat my laptop hardrive and in an effort to add some longevity to it I installed Windows 7.  I previously has Windows Vista installed.  My issue is that all my drivers work but I lost the HP solution center which provided the scanning capabilities.  I tried re-installing the software that came with the printer but the CD is for Vista and XP.  I see no where on the HP website to download the software.  Is there a Windows 7 version and how can I update to it.  I need help!

Re: Where is HP Solution Center software?

Hey, I have been complaining about this problem for weeks now with no help.  I have Windows 7 32 bit and trying to hook up

my C7280.  After thorough cleaning and shutting down of all checking programs, the install will error out while doing the

configuration phase.  It installs my printer driver nicely, but Solution Center when loaded claims the install did not complete,

and tells me to reinstall.  I have done this numerous times with the same result.  The problem is that Solution Center in integral with the driver software and cannot be removed, even if one uninstalls the integrated package.  Running the installation keeps

telling me an install of the Solution Center is not required, as it is already installed.  I have reached a dead end.  Any suggestions?
