on Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise. Printer connected over USB.
I can't print more than two pages from any application.
It stop printing after two pages and have a message on LED "Printing Document".
Nothing is in the print queue.
Printer well working on WinXP, Win2003, Win2008 x64.
Anyone else have this problem? Or even a solution?
Sorry for my bad English.

Hello Sega_nt
I am surprised you succeeded to install the Win7 x64 driver for the M1005 MFP.
Whatever I try, the driver cannot be installed.
When I run the setup; it creates recursive directories in:
c:\Programmes\HP\HP LaserJet M1005series
\HP\HP LaserJet M1005series\HP .... and so on.
The install then fails.
Trying to extract the installation dir, and then install the driver manually also doesn't work.
Can someone please confirm the problem, or is something wrong with my Win7 install?
FYI: using windows 7 professional in french.

I retried the installation from the driver after having cleaned previous installation and having unplugged the printer.
Same problem re-occured
Here the log containing the error

Hello
Interesting, I tried the english version, but maybe I'll have more success with the french one, considering my OS is in french (would be really strange, but worth a try). If ever it works, I'll let you know about printing several pages.

Hello,
Strange enough the french driver worked. I could install it without any issue. And I printed a document having more than 3 pages without any problem.
For me the problem is solved. Sorry that you still encounter issues. But I confirm that from my first basic test; it seems to work just fine.Re: Windows 7 64-bit & HP LaserJet M1005 MFP Printing problem

I was wrong. Trying to print a longer document with MS Word. I had the same problem than described by the original poster.
It prints two pages, and then stops.
(Win7 x64 french / French M1005 drivers for Win7x64).

i've got Seven X64 Ultimate , lastes driver(russian), and have the same problem with printing several pages not only from MS office also from adobe acrobat etc.. it's very bad that so huge company like HP doesn't worry at all about customers and have so bad sofware support for it's own products. next time probably i should buy canon or something else ![]()

I re-formatted my hard disk and re-installed everything and I still have the same problem of being unable to print multiple pages. It appears to be a problem no-one at " Win 7" and HP care about?
