Windows 7 support for Laserjet 1522nf

I'm working from my corporate laptop and the following steps were taken to make the 1522nf scanner work on my system:

My username on my laptop connects to corporate domain.  Even though I have admin privileges, when I tried to install the HP drivers that I needed the system gave me an error.  I had to create a local admin account and assign administrator privileges in order for the HP driver install to work.

I downloaded the following file: LJM1522-PCL6-netpnp-win64-ww.exe.

This file is for Windows XP 64 bit OS.  Don't ask me why I'm installing XP drivers when I'm running windows 7 64 bit.  It works and that's all I care about.

Again I had to use my local admin account otherwise the install would fail.

I gave it all the necessary information and at the end my system was able to communicate with the scanner and I'm able to scan documents from my system. 

I hope this is helpful for people out there.
