Need printer driver to use HP Color Laserjet 2500n with Windows 7 professional. Any hints?

Hi magcoder,

You do not need to download drivers for this product. Print drivers for your product are available within the Windows 7 operating system. Use Devices and Printers, formerly known as the Add Printer Wizard, to obtain the Windows 7 update. For more information,  go to Install the Printer Driver through the Windows 7 Operating System (c02536257) (in English).

Also, the Color Laserjet 2500n is a commercial printer. For any future issues, I recommend posting in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a solution.

Thanks for the quick response. I failed to mention that I am running Win 7 Pro , 64bit.

Other feedback indicates that the HP drivers you have refferred me to do not work with 64 bit.

also, I had already tried all of the ones on this site, and came up ZIP.

So far, frustration abounds. Byb the bye, I also fired up an antique tower running XP-Pro, and was unable to get that one to work either. Some of the efforts have allowed test page in Black and White but not color. When I exercise the printer "offline" I get wonderful color. Bummer!

The driver that is available in Windows 7 64bit that you should use is either HP Color Laserjet 2500 PCL5 or HP Color Laserjet 2500 PS:
