hpqtra08.exe high CPU usage

I recently noticed that there was continuous high cpu usage on my Dell Precision 4400 laptop.  On investigation, I found that the hpqtra08.exe was continuously using around 50% cpu.  On start-up usage is about 00 - 02% but after a few minutes, this increases to 50% and remains there.  Any suggestions?

 

I have a C7280 all in 1 and run HP solution Centre 130.0.44.62

 

Printer is connected wirelessly via Netgear Router

 

OS Vista Business 6.0.6002 SP2

 

2GB Ram

 

I also have software for a C4400 loaded

I noticed that it happens when the printer is turned off or disconnected.  But I don't know how to solve this problem.
