Tap the wireless button on the printer menu. Go through wireless settings, network/wireless info, and either read/copy the information off of the panel or print a network diagnostics page.

If you're connected to a router you may have to access it through administrative rights and ensure that DHCP is enabled and that if MAC filtering is on either disable MAC address filtering or add the printer’s MAC address to the allowed list. (The MAC address will be on the same page as the IP address you saw earlier)

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol—A network protocol used by devices (such as notebooks, printers, PCs, and so on) to obtain configuration information so that they can operate on a network. Home routers typically include a DHCP server, which assigns a unique IP address to each device on the network.
There should be a menu, entirely depending on your router, where MAC filtering is an option. Usually this is located within security or advanced security.

Couple of questions for you:
First, what model of printer?
Second, what Windows operating system?
I am a support engineer for HP.
If the advice resolved the situation, please mark it as a solution. Thank you.
