is there a driver that will let a win 2000 machine print (only) on network m1536 printer?

We've gotten a LaserJet 1536dnf MFP for use on a Windows network with mixed OS's. All  of the Win 7 and XP machines are fine but we have one machine still running Windows 2000. We only need print capability for that workstation...scan and fax not needed there. Is there a driver we could install on the Win 2000 machine that would let it print to the 1536?

Hi,

You may try the Laserjet 4100 as alternative driver.

I believe it will allow you to print to the M1536:

1. Download the software below:
   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software8/lj828/lj-2010-10/lj4100pcl6win2kxp2003-en.exe
2. Run the file click Unzip.
3. From the Control Panel, add a printer manually by setting the TCP/IP port.
4. you will find the drivers under the c:\lj4100-4100mfp folder.
