We've gotten a LaserJet 1536dnf MFP for use on a Windows network with mixed OS's. All of the Win 7 and XP machines are fine but we have one machine still running Windows 2000. We only need print capability for that workstation...scan and fax not needed there. Is there a driver we could install on the Win 2000 machine that would let it print to the 1536?

Did you try one of the universal print drivers (PCL 5 or 6) for XP?

You may try the Laserjet 4100 as alternative driver.
I believe it will allow you to print to the M1536:
- Download the software below:
- Run the file click Unzip.
- From the Control Panel, add a printer manually by setting the TCP/IP port.
- you will find the drivers under the c:\lj4100-4100mfp folder.
Hope it helps,
